Makefile.def in windows OS?

Post by raminbadri » Mon May 28, 2012 7:21 am

Dear Dr.fmk

I want to use Single OpenSees parallel Interpreter for analysis of my model.
I have read "Using the OpenSees Interpreter on Parallel Computers ,Frank McKenna.2008".
you have mentioned there to create "makefile.def" in Unix-based machines.

1) Is this necessary for Single OpenSees parallel Interpreter too?
2) if yes, Is there any master changes for windows-based machines?
3) if I have a multi_core PC with n core what is "-np ..." in command line as follow:
mpiexec -channel auto -np ..... OpenSeesSP model.tcl

thanks
