Concrete02 model on windows XP

Post by jayram » Tue Aug 03, 2004 9:10 am

Hi,

I am trying to run a simple moment-curvature analysis on an RC section. This works fine using concrete01 material. However, when I change the material definition to concrete02, the analysis fails.

I read on one of the opensees help pages that currently FEDEAS materials are only available with the Win32 version of OpenSees. I am not really sure about this, but does it mean that I cannot use this concrete model on a windows XP machine?

Thank you
Jayram

No the win32 means it is only available in the Windows 32 bit version, Windows XP is a win32 product, so is 2000, NT, 98, and I think 95. Post your input or PM it to me and I will look at it and see if I notice anything.

Thanks, but I'm able to run it now. For some reason the analysis was not running when I set lambda (unloading slope at $epscu/initial slope)=1. However, it does run when I set lambda=0.999.
