Post by KhaledSaif » Mon Apr 04, 2016 10:56 pm

Hello there,

I had this note while running my model;
R in negative in ReinforcingStee::SetMP().

and then the convergence failed using all methods :\
Any Idea?

Thanks,

no idea and i am afraid the student who write the material has left for ndutsry and has not been able to spend time in the past on similar questions.

you may need to one of the other steel material options. FRom past experience ReinforcingSteel while mimicks stress-strain behaviour of plain rebar in testing has problems when placed in models with other fibers and multiple elements.
