py eigenvalue problem

Post by montejo » Sat Sep 26, 2009 11:18 am

I have a model of a 4 pile/column bridge bent. The pile/columns are modeled with fiber elements and the soil using py springs. The model is running fine for pushover analysis, however I'm getting an error when solving for the first eigenvalue (the error message says starting vector is zero).

Any ideas on how to solve this issue?

Thanks,

L.
