Hi I am studying the behavior of reinforced cylindrical column subjected to constant axial load and cyclic horizontal load (moment/curvature analysis), my problem which is to be able to stop the test at one moment, for insert the reinfforcement system (new cls jacket, new longitudinal bars) and to continue the test.
I wanted to know if I can use a new section for the item at a given instant in time of the test well to consider the effects of reinforcement. I want to do a test with two different section.
- I run the test with a section armed with various constitutive
- Stop the test
- Insert a new section with the system of reinforcement
- I reboot the test
