OpenSeesMP

Post by hadisayadpour » Thu May 17, 2012 1:33 am

hi every body.
Is openseesMP and openseesSP capable of performing any kind of simulation and analysis that OpenSees does?
Is there any kind of limitations about OpenseesMP and OpenSeesSP?
Thanks in advance.

yes?
openseesMP has no limitations, SP may not work for all elements and material types as not all elements and materials have the send/recvSElf methods implemented or implemented correctly. i only find out about the ones that don't work when someone tries them in a script.

for windows it's available here:
http://opensees.berkeley.edu/OpenSees/p ... wnload.php

for linux and mac machines you have to build it to run on your local machine. otherwise you have to use NEEShub.
