joint2d-pinching4 cannot change the hysteretic curves

If you have a script you think might be useful to others post it
here. Hopefully we will be able to get the most useful of these incorporated in the manuals.

joint2d-pinching4 cannot change the hysteretic curves

Post by JaneSun » Wed Oct 24, 2018 9:39 am

respectful everone:

I use Joint2D to build a beam-column joint, then subjected to cyclic loads to draw hysteretic curves.

when I change the parameters of pinching4 material, the hysteretic curves cannot change at all. and I don't know if it was because the problem of multiple constraints.

I use "rigidlink bar" to connect the nodes of zero-length section element between upper column and joint(2 3 ), beam and joint(6 7 ), bottom column and joint(9 11)
rigidLink bar 2 3;
rigidLink bar 6 7;
rigidLink bar 9 11;

the center node of joint2D is 12, and the external nodes are 2 6 9 11 respectively,I use rigidlink beam to multi-constraint them
rigidLink beam 12 2;
rigidLink beam 12 6;
rigidLink beam 12 9;
rigidLink beam 12 5;

thank you so much and may you have a delightful day!

I'm currently building my own system and based on the hysteretic curves and it seems like one way to achieve it with my team is Joint2D.
