I recommend Notepad++, an excellent editor.

I use Alphatk. It isn't free, but it has a ton of features and is great for programmers (Java, C++, Perl, Tcl, Python etc) or someone writing TeX/LaTeX, XML or HTML source files.

Use notepad like that you can be sure that your code is clean and no funny characters appear when using other software

hi, u could use Komodo Editor, it has some special features that makes it really easy programming with tcl.
