3D Benchmark

Post by GUMAA » Sun Aug 27, 2023 7:54 am

I created a Timoshenko frame element to simulate the failure of reinforced concrete frame structures, incorporating both geometric and material nonlinearities. This was achieved using the FEM software OOFEM. The model's accuracy was confirmed through successful benchmark testing. To further validate it, I am seeking information from anyone who has analyzed a similar two-story, two-bay 3D frame structure. If you have conducted such an analysis, kindly share the analysis particulars and outcomes.
