Silvia, for uniformly-distributed load, the eleLoad command (case 2D) should be written as follows:
eleLoad -ele $eleTag1 <$eleTag2 ....> -type -beamUniform $Wy <$Wx>
(see the online documentation)

in a way, yes, sure.
but the manual specifies what Wz for 2d is in the table below.
