Stiffness

Post by nicola27 » Sun Nov 25, 2012 3:36 am

I want to understand the meaning of kinti - kcomm - kcurrent in dynamic analysis with rayleigh.
When I want to do an analysis without damping I put in all zeros, OpenSees which uses initial stiffness?

Kinit = initial stiffness
Kcomm = stiffnesss at last commit
Kcurrent = stifness at current trial state
