Has anyone run this example in Opensees v1.6.0 ? Does it work?
I was told that there is an arguments-match problem in the command - "uniaxialMaterial Pinching4 ..." It seems that the last argument - "$damage" should be omitted to get though. But, if do so, when run this example in Opensees, the command window will say "the linearSysofEqu failed in solve() StaticAnalysis::analyze() ". Thanks.
(my OS is windowsxp with sp2)
Example .tcl files for BeamColumnJoint Element don't work?

The user manual has the syntax for the last version of Pinching4 material which is not checked into CVS yet. I contacted the author regarding this. Check out the website below for the updated code and documentation:

The TCL script given in the website

still doesn't work on OpenSees V 1.6.0. I was told that there was a bug in this software. There is a new version available now OpenSees V 1.6.1 and the new script available in the above website work in it.
