Some suggestions for Documentation enhancement.

Post by pejman_opensees » Sun May 10, 2009 2:20 am

I think that would be helpful if documentation explained in more detail the followings:

1-Usage of nDMaterial and NDElements. (Nonlinear modeling of shell and solids). Some examples describing these materials would be very informative.

2-Considering strain rate effect in OpenSees needs some programming. If it is not possible to introduce new material in which strain-rate is considered, at least some thorough explanations would be great to helpl users to model this phenomenon.

3-New Beam-Column Joint Element developed by Altoontash is very good. But no documentation is available regarding its relevant parameters.
