has anyone tried using the command;
uniaxialMaterial PySimple1 $matTag $soilType $pult $Y50 $Cd <$c>

which is associated with;
element zeroLength $eleTag $iNode $jNode -mat $matTag -dir $dir

i tried computing for Pult and y50 using the procedures available in the documentation but still got this message;
WARNING SNAP material model could not be created

any help or advise? thanks.

it was a bug! in the code .. it has been fixed (Version1.6.1.d).
