OpenSees script for beam-column joint element

Post by Araj » Sat Nov 06, 2004 9:32 am

Hello everyone,

Can anybody lead me to the TCL script which uses the command "element beamColumnJoint". I am trying to make a building model but I am not getting how to include beam-column joint into my model.

The TCL scripts available in the OpenSees website http://peer.berkeley.edu/~silvia/OpenSees/manual/html/ -- PR1.tcl, procMKPC.tcl, procUniaxialPinching.tcl, procRC.tcl do not seem to work. Has anyone fixed this problem ? I guess there is some error in "uniaxialMaterial Pinching4" command in these scripts.

I hope someone has come across this program and would post a reply.

Thank you,

With regards,
Aloke

Try using the latest bulid (1.6.1). The syntax in the manual differs from the actual syntax in older builds...

Thanks Berk. The new version of OpenSees 1.6.1 seems to work.
