Mainshock-aftershock sequences

Post by OooO » Mon Jan 08, 2024 5:22 am

Hello everyone!

I have been working on the mainshock-aftershock sequence recently. Due to the large model, IDA analysis is time-consuming. I consider using the 'database' command to save the model after completing the mainshock analysis. However, there are some problems in restoring the model before aftershock analysis.

When I restore the model, there is no hint or other display, but it directly stops running.
What is the reason for this?

Thank you.

sendSelf and recvSelf are not implemented correctly for the elements and materials you are using.

Which elements and materials are in your model?

I model the steel frame-shear wall structure. The steel frame adopts steel02, dispBeamColumn element. The shear wall is simulated by the layered shell element developed by Lu.

Using a multi-dimensional concrete model, it seems that only the ' nDmaterial PlaneStressUserMaterial ' created by the developer can be used.

It's likely sendSelf and recvSelf are not implemented for that material. You can inquire with the developer.

Thank you very much for your reply!

But I do not know how to get in touch with the developer, can you please further answer?
