-nees in the element recorder

Post by jwaugh » Fri Oct 15, 2004 11:40 am

It was mentioned at the user's workshop that you could substitute -nees for -file in the input for the element recorder in version 1.6.0 and this would print the headings for the columns in the output making it simpler to know columns corresponded to what forces. I tried that and it doesn't seem to work. Has anyone else done this and if so what other modifications do I have to make to get this to work. Thanks

the headings should be in another file, filename.xml .. can you check to see if this is there before i have to go find a windows machine to check the .exe

No it doesn't create it, or at least not on my machine, in fact it doesn't even recognize the switch so it doesn't create the *.out file. Thanks for the assistance Frank.

Is the source for ver 1.6.1 up for download? I checked and it said that it is the source for version 1.6.0, is that just a typo and should be 1.6.1 or is the source for 1.6.1 not available? Thanks Frank
