Hi everyone,
I use the OpenSees 2.4.0 version, but and I want to use the new version of OpenSees. I downloaded it from the website, but it is not jointed with Tcl, I mean when I run Tcl, the version that is shown is still 2.4.0. How can I execute the new version of OpenSees with Tcl?

The new versions of OpenSees does not require a separate installation of tcl.

OpenSees/Tcl instructions may be performed in one of three ways, as follows:
Direct command entry is possible at the propt, Execute input file at OpenSees. prompt.
The most typical approach is this one. The source command may be used to run an external file containing input instructions (inputFile.tcl) at the OpenSees prompt.
Bulk mode
The MS-DOS/Unix prompt may also be used to run the previously produced input file containing the Tcl script instructions required to carry out the analysis.
