Trapezoidal load for 3D beam

Post by elonzhang » Thu Apr 13, 2023 4:19 am

Is it possible to apply trapezoidal distributed load to a 3D beam ?
I am aware of the 2D version https://portwooddigital.com/2021/05/05/ ... eam-loads/, but could not figure out what is the command for 3D beam trapeziodal load.

Yes, it is possible to apply trapezoidal distributed load to a 3D beam. You can do so with additional arguments to the eleLoad command with the beamUniform type. time shooter 2
