Holding states and performing an eigen analysis

Post by adarshss » Mon Apr 11, 2022 1:33 am

Hello guys, I hope you have a wonderful day.

Let's say you are performing a dynamic analysis and {t1,t2,...,tn} are the various time steps. Further, let's also assume that the system matrices are time-dependent. Is it possible to hold the domain state at each time step and perform an eigenanalysis? That is if Omega and Phi are the eigenvalues and eigenvectors, respectively, can we get [Omega, Phi](t1), [Omega, Phi](t2), ..., [Omega, Phi](tn) ?

Thanks,
Adarsh
