End (Length) offsets

Post by ankurjain » Sun Nov 15, 2020 11:16 pm

Sir How can I provide End (Length) offsets in Opensees as I can do in SAP2000.?
Also, I need to define Rigid Zone Factor for my Beam and Column. Is It possible to do in Opensees ???

Thanks in advance.

You can use rigid joint offsets in the geomTransf command.

There is no direct option for the rigid zone factor. To input rigid end offsets along with a rigid zone factor, you need to define rigid elements at the end of your members manually
