Post by parasismique » Mon Aug 17, 2020 1:29 am

Dears friends,

How can be define 'tension strain in extreme tensile steel fiber' for column fiber FE model ?! Is it defined as follows ?!

recorder Element -file SecSteel.out -time -ele1 section1 fiber -$ro 0. $IDreinf stressStrain (ro=Diameter/2)

Please, your suggestions will be very useful for me.

That should work, with space between 'ele' and '1' and between 'section' and '1'.

If there is no fiber, the center of which exactly matches the coordinates that you specify, then it will record the closest fiber to these coordinates.
