The results in output file is not consistent with that on screen
Hi, everyone.
As a beginner, I ran the "ElasticFrame.tcl" script (https://opensees.berkeley.edu/wiki/inde ... me_Example).
But I found the shear force of element in output file was NOT the same as that on screen, while axial force and moment were consistent. E.g., V of element 1 is 65.7665 on screen, but in output file, it's 63.9773.
I didn't change any code. It seems to be relevent to lateral force. Does anyone encounter this problem?

Are you recording the same quantities in the output file and on the screen?

the results are different because the element is "CURRENTLY" (i.e I might change this) just printing forces based on end moments and element length .. the recorder is reporting element forces which are determined from basic forces transformed by the geometric transformation .. for your example you are seeing differences due to PDelta .. if you set the transformation for the columns Linear the numbers should match.

Thanks! So if I set PDelta, the results in recorder is more precise than that on screen "currently".
