Help! the Opensees.exe has stopped working

Post by ailulu » Mon Sep 03, 2018 9:36 am

When I run a script, or an example downloaded from the official website (Example_1-MVLEM), it showed "Opensees.exe has stopped working" and "A problem has occurred that causes the program to stop working properly". What's going on here? Has anyone encountered the same problem? Can someone give me some help? Thank you.

Thank you very much, the problem has solved. But there is a new problem, the example (Example_1-MVLEM) still can't run. It showed like this:
"WARNING BandGenLinLapackSolver::solve() -LAPACK routine returned 2
WARNING NewtonRaphson::solveCurrentStep() -the LinearSysOfEqn failed in solve()
StaticAnalysis::analyze() - the Algorithm failed at iteration: 0 with domain at load factor 0.1
OpenSees > analyze failed, returned: -3 error flag"

Anyone could help me? What's going on?

Hello

I experienced a similar problem. Opensees suddenly closes when I run Example MVLEM1.
But if I run the same file under another version of Opensees, it works.
I suggest you download http://opensees.berkeley.edu/wiki/image ... _MVLEM.zip
The compacted files contains version 2.4.4 and it ran perfectly examples 1 and 2 of MVLEM.
Hope it helps
