ShellDKGT

Hi, Im trying to model a kind of roof supported on columns. I need to use either triangular, and cuadrilateral elements, so decided to use ShellDKGQ and ShellDKGT elements, but I'm getting the error "element of type ShellDKGT not known"

An example of how they are defined in my model:

element ShellDKGQ 12 21 22 27 26 1

element ShellDKGT 18 13 14 12 6

Only ShellDKGT is having problem.

Im looking at the source code, and I think that the element ShellDKGT, has a "bad call".

This I think is because on ShellDKGT.h, the source code calls "$Source: /usr/local/cvs/OpenSees/SRC/element/shellDKGQ/shellDKGQ.h,v $", there you can see that this element is calling ShellDKGQ, not ShellDKGT.

Please help, Im stuck here

not seeing the error:

fgrep ShellDKGQ ShellDKGT.*
ShellDKGT.cpp: s << "EL_ShellDKGQ\t" << eleTag << "\t";

can you post a 4 node example that just creates 4 nodes, 1 material and 1 element

a 4 node example should only have 1 element! .. the sript is running for me and produces the following when i do a print on 2 ele:

I´m using the current x64 version of OpenSees and tcl/tk binaries.

Using this very little example:

model basic -ndm 3 -ndf 6
node 1 0 0 0
node 2 0 1 0
node 3 1 0 0
section ElasticMembranePlateSection 1 2.03E+10 1.70E-01 0.1909 2500.0
element ShellDKGQ 1 1 2 3 4 1

I get the error "ERROR -- element of type ShellDKGT not known"
