Example for system CuSP

Post by dgale » Wed Dec 13, 2017 2:01 am

Hello everyone,
I would like to use system CuSP -rTol $RTOL -mInt $MINT -pre $PRE -solver $SOLVER but I don't know how to use it exactly.
Could anyone post a simple example?
My GPU is a NVIDIA Quadro M4000 with these features:

CUDA Cores 1664
GPU Memory 8 GB GDDR5
Memory Interface 256-bit
Memory Bandwidth 192 GB/s
System Interface PCI Express 3.0 x16
Display Connectors DP 1.2 (4) + Stereo
DisplayPort 1.2 Yes
Warranty 3 Years
PNY Part Number VCQM4000-PB

Thanks a lot!!

And another question is: what's faster using CuSP or OpenSeesSP?

Unless you have a really fast GPU, it cannot be faster

For common computers, OpenseesSP with Mumps solver is the fastest

Hello,
I think I installed well everything but an error message comes up like this: "Function Load Error! The version of DLL maybe incorrect"

So I guess that I put the CuSPSolver.dll in a wrong folder. Could someone say me where I have to put CuSPSolver.dll? (I mean the correct address)

Thanks in advance
