UniaxialMaterial Concrete for HPC or UHPC material

Post by pken000 » Mon Jan 02, 2017 2:28 am

Dear all,
I am novice and I am doing my thesis in OpenSees. I occupy with investigating of slender columns made from HPC-high performance concrete and UHPC- ultra high performance concrete.
1.) Is there any accurate material model in OpenSees to model HPC or UHPC (70-130 MPa) concrete material, or is it enough to define HPC with some general concrete... material but with modifies properties?
2.) Which concrete material is better to use for the expressing of HPC material?

Thank you so much for your feedback and help.
Kind Regards
Peter

Hi,
how did you finally model ultra high performance concrete in Opensees?

I'm also working on a thesis in OpenSees on this topic, I don't have much information on which concrete material is better to use for HPC material rendering? Have you finished it yet?

Hello,

I have had some success modeling UHPC using Concrete01, however I am also interested to see if there is a more realistic modeling function for UHPC.

Thanks!
