mass participation in modal analysis

Dear all,
does anybody know if I can get an output file with the mass that is activated in each mode in a modal analysis?

No, there is no such recorder in OpenSees, but if you need that info you can write a procedure that will calculate it for you.

I do not have a procedure file you need but I think someone has posted something useful on the message board. Search the message board.
