Hinge Beam Column Element in Open Sees Navigator

Post by MEatherton » Tue May 10, 2005 7:35 pm

I'm running OpenSees Navigator 2.0 and I can't get the hinge beam column element to work. I'm defining a fiber section of AISC wide flange beams and using those as the node i and node j sections. When I go to write open sees input files it gives errors in the Matlab window:

??? Reference to non-existent field 'SecNameI'.

Error in ==> c:\program files\opensees\WriteTCLElement.m
On line 82 ==>

Error in ==> c:\program files\opensees\WriteTCLfiles.m
On line 247 ==>

??? Error while evaluating uicontrol Callback.

Any ideas?
