record of stress-strain

Post by wunico » Thu Apr 21, 2005 6:20 am

when i define a plane frame.the fiber section is composed of steel and concrete. but when i record the fiber at the same height of steel .the stress and strain is always equel the steel ,even the Cover concrete at the height of steel in the section.

add a tag at the end of the recorder statement, somthing like:
-material $matID

let me know if this works, otherwise i'll research the actual command

the following has worked for me on a past version:
recorder Element -file $S1filename.out -ele $xEL section $xSEC fiber 0. $fiberYZ $IDcore stressStrain

put in the material ID after the fiber coordinates, before stressStrain.

please confirm whether it works
