Hi,

is it possible to determine the place of plastic hings for a structure?

Sure,
1. Different section recorders all over the model and a little post processing would be helpful.

2. Using OSP and plotting load-deformation diagram for members

I hope this helps

First off, Thanks to Charles chadwell, you could right click on ur members and see load-deflection diagrams but the procedure to get to this is rather cumbersome!
I would recommend using some coding inside or outside tcl/tk to manipulate output files ( the ones section recorder reports) to detect yielding and plastichinge formation through the elemnts. You may have to work on several text files simultaneously but dont worry! once the coding is privided, you can leave the difficult task for computer
