MUMPS solver

Hi,

I did try to run 2D soil Site Response Analysis of a Layered Soil Column using MUMPS solver in OpenSeesPy. I changed the system parameter to Mumps and it runs smoothly but I didn't notice any difference in execution time, which I would expect (?).

Is it anything specific of running MUMPS system in OpenSeesPy?

If your model is not large (2D soil column), you won't see much time difference with any of the solvers.
