Macroelement
Hi,
Has anyone come across any documentation related to the implementation of the macroelement developed by Varun (2010) and implemented by Shafieezadeh (2011). I am assuming it is called pyMacro in the source code.
Regards

Re: Damage Models
I just found them in the appendix to his thesis but I have checked the models are working. So if it is just a matter of inputting the information from his thesis into the wiki then I can certainly do that.

Damage Models
Hi,
I am wondering why the damage models are not documented in the OpenSees manual, are they not working? They are included in the source code and there is documentation of their usage in Altoontash's dissertation, so I am unsure why they are not in the command manual.
Regards

Re: Problem with LimitState Material
Hey Michael,
Thank you very much for your prompt response. It works when I change the defType. I have not yet checked the results but at least the analysis runs. Is the change in source code something relatively easy that I can do, or does it need to be from the OpenSees team?
Cheers

Problem with LimitState Material
To whomever can help, I am having significant problems with the LimitState material. I am applying it to a simple model set-up in the hope of understanding its response and the sensitivity to different parameters. Every time I run my analysis, OpenSees crashes after solving the first time step. Here...
