Re: Eigen Analysis
most probably the mass source in two programs are different. please apply sigma (pAL/2) to your nodal mass in opensees.

Re: recorder in push analysis
Hi Nahid
It may be that the nonlinear effects are not very strong for your model. I suggest that increase the magnitude of your target displacement and then compare the results.

Re: plastic hinge in pushover analysis
I think you need to do a post-process step. You can use stressStrain as a argument of “recorder element”, draw the stress-strain curve, and see that material nonlinearity has been reached or not.
Any opinion?

If Kinit then it is clear that the stiffness will not be updated If Ktangent then the stiffness will be updated (there is a choice which stiffness to use).

several BasicBuilder
Hi all
Can we use “model BasicBuilder” command several times in a script? We have a truss which its supports are beam-column elements.

Nahid
You are using DisplacementControl integrator which means the control of displacement is set up by user and the output denotes force.
Your loading probably has a problem. Please send your script.

Re: Time history analysis
Dear vesna
You modeled example 5.4 from Prof. Chopra's book. When I run your script, opensees doesn’t give any error message. But output files are empty. I use opensees 2.2.2. would you please tell me what the problem is?
Thank you.

getting source
Hi, I want to change the opensees source. For example, in http://opensees.berkeley.edu/WebSVN/listing.php?repname=OpenSees&path=%2Ftrunk%2FSRC there are many files. which of them should be gotten? If all files are required, how can we download them together (is there zip format)? It is very time-con...
