The problem might be related to a missing element, material, node dof or a sp and mp constraint. The best practice is to check the tcl scripts after you write your model in tcl. You may not see what is missing in Navigator but you could see what is missing in tcl files.
Hope this helps.

An easy way to get Modal Participation Factors
Hi Frank,
Is there any easy way to get modal participation factors directly from the Modal analysis? Or should we post-process to get them?
Thank you very much,
Kind regards,
Cagatay

Drift Recorder
Dear Frank, I am running extensive response history analysis on my shear wall model and recording drifts using drift recorder. However, the drift values are too small like around 0.00005. When I record the displacement of each floor and calculate the drift between two adjacent stories I get bigger v...

Re: StarCluster~OpenSeesMP~ReadRecords
Thank you for the reply. I just wanted to see how you are calling the ground motion files (I mean the format of the ground motion filed) for parallel analyses. But I have written a matlab code for my own ground motion files and modified the OpenSees model, so all is working fine.

Re: leaning column loading
Dear Frank, Thanks for your reply. Just to make sure, I am modelling a 2D shear wall structure using quad elements so each node has 2dofs. In order to apply P-Delta effect (I know i can do that applying P-Delta geometric transformation to columns if I had a frame structure but I have 2D, 2dof model)...

Re: leaning column loading
Also, is it okay that inclusive of leaning column gives a different displacement history in time history analysis?

Can you also please explain what peerRecords.txt (in the example of http://opensees.berkeley.edu/wiki/index ... Processing) file includes inside?

StarCluster~OpenSeesMP~ReadRecords
Dear Frank, I am trying to run time history analysis using more than 1000 ground motion records and I am using StarCluster to run all ground motions. The issue is here, the ground motion records which I am using have the information of NPTS and DT in the header and the rest is acceleration time seri...
