load deformation history of bar slip spring

Hi All, I have a problem getting load-deformation response history of bar-slip spring on beam-column joint element. When I write the recorder commands on the manual, I did not get any response. Did anybody try these commands? Are they not right? How can I obtain bar-slip spring, interface shear spri...

moment-curvature and plastic rotation relationship

Hi All, can I ask some questions about moment-curvature results from element recorder? When I get the moment-curvature results from element recorder (force and displacements) after my full analysis of the bridge, I obtained linear M-Curvature curve. When I find plastic rotation values , I got nonlin...

zero lenght section element strain-stress results

I defined uniaxialMaterial Bond_SP01 as a steel material. I used this material into fiber section to define my columns. I defined zero length section element and gave it this fiber section. then I used recorder Element -file colstsr8.out -time -ele 83 section fiber 6 0 stressStrain; to obtain stress...

zero lenght section element strain-stress results

Hi Friends,

Do you know I can obtain strain-stress values from zero lenght section element? Are they steel or concrete stress and strain results? Thanks a lot,

beamwithhinges element stress and strain records

Hi All, Anybody knows how can we find the stress and strain values for node I and node J of beamwithhinge element? I found the values for node I with defining the section number 1 but I could not find the results for node J. I tried section number 2 , 3 or 4 but it did not work. Can you help me? Tha...

elastic gap material

Hi,

In my bridge model, I have seats at the ends of the bridge. There is 0.5 inches gap between seat and deck. I defined Uniaxial Material Elastic Gap to model this. Is that correct? How can I model it? Thanks a lot,
