thanks but as I tried equalDOF makes 2 nodes behave as a hing ( such 1 node 1 hing) I am so confused.... :(

one question: with which command I can connect 2 nodes with same coordinates that one is end of pinned element and another is rigid node( I want it to have rigid behaviour) ?

i am trying to model steel shear wall too.i want to know why you use zero length element?is it true to use it? and how you want evaluate the wall thickness?

steel plate shear wall modeling

hi all I want to model stell plate shear wall in a 2D frame.but I have a problems in "block2D" command.I want to know: can I use block2D command with ShellMITC element type in 2D frame? the block2D command don't accept my coordinates.what is the problem????? please help me couse I don't know so much...
