### Torsional effect

my structure is concrete and I modeled the beams with BeamElementWithHinges. I have not included in the initial analysis of the torsional stiffness in the fiber section and the period was 0.8 [s]. After I inserted the torsion (Ubig) and my period is increased.

### reinforced concrete frame

I made my reinforced concrete frame with two spans two floors and stuck to the base. I want to set up the diaphragms stiff and I used the dof equal in x direction as follows, equalDOF 21 22 1; equalDOF 21 23 1; equalDOF 31 32 1; equalDOF 31 33 1; equalDOF 41 42 1; equalDOF 41 43 1. I applied the mas...

### Periods

I'm doing a nonlinear analysis with accelleregramma of a reinforced concrete frame. I used non-linear elements and sections in fiber concrete01 and steel02. When I calculate the proportional damping, calculation periods and frequencies. The time that I find myself using the nonlinear elements is dif...

### Re: help

Thanks vesna I think I have solved this problem, because I used the dof equal in the x direction. Now I want to ask you: I am doing a dynamic analysis of a reinforced concrete frame. When I calculate the period of my structure with elastic elements, I have a period of 0.54 s. when I calculate the pe...
