documentation listing ALL the libraries (and what versions) needed to compile, and some Makefile.def.parallel examples.

It would be good to provide some guidance on how to compile the tools TCL, TK, MPICH, PETSC, MUMPS for OpenSeesSP and OpenSeesMP versions on Linux (Ubuntu, Fedora, Debian). And I also recommend to update the Makefiles for new versions of Linux that exist today.
