problem in using Navigator-please help

Post by swinderx » Sun Jun 16, 2013 12:57 am

I download an example Ex2a.Canti2D.ElasticElement.Push.tcl file from the tutorial.
I used OpenSees Navigator to run it, (open model from files....), it can show me the structure graphically.
However, when I try to run the analysis by clicking the icon (run OpenSees..), it shows a "Run OpenSees Error: Please load a model or create a model first".
Could anyone please tell me why it happens and how I can solve it?

many thanks

My system is Win8 64bit
TCL and OpenSees in 32bit - can run properly
OpenSees Navigator 2.5.1 and Matlab 2010 - 64bit
Before clicking "run Opensees", I have set OpenSees.exe properly.
