SHEAR - AXIAL COUPLING IN FRAME ELEMENTS

Hi my name is Wilson. I am working in a simplified model of a Cathedral, but I need to consider axial - shear coupling (Mohr-Coulomb) on the piers.

I am trying to model with zero length contact element and equalDOF for bending, but the model doesn´t work. Is it posible to insert this zero length element in a joint of frame elements to couple axial and shear? or This zero length element works only for geothecnical applications with 2 DOF for in plane models and 3DOF for spacial models?
