the nonlinear force beam column element needs to iterate internally at each step and one or more of these elements is having problems with a certain displ increment that has occured. the element tag should also be spit out in the error message. you have a number of options:
1) try and cut the step size, i.e. smaller analysis step.
2) look at the element in question and see what is happening in it, i.e. for the last committed state is the element done or should their be some more capacity?
3) try the nonlinear displacement based formulation instead of the force based formulation (change nonlinearBeamColumn to dispBeamColumn) in the command for those elements that are failing. this can lead to failure in convergence at the global level.
