Use of OpenSEES for long term thermal effects

I wanted to know if OpenSEES has been used previously to model the long-term effects of atmospheric thermal effects on a system. I have gone through the discussions and all I could find was Fire loading analysis and just a catenary cable element for capturing the thermal expansion of an element.
