Defining Hydrostatic Pressure in OpenSees

Hi everyone,

I have a model, consist of soil and seawater. I am modeling the soil medium but as I am not modeling the seawater, I want to apply the hydrostatic pressure of it on the ground surface. In OpenSees, when I apply that pressure by definition as load, it is being considered as a general pressure not hydrostatic to be inserted in pore water pressure part (from water) and it is going directly to effective stress part. I will appreciate any suggestion in this respect.
