Version number same and build number changed ?

I have just found out that my model could not be run by a colleague because he had downloaded a different
revision (6536) than mine (6345). However, the OpenSees version remained exactly the same ! Why not be v2.5.1 ?

Is there any way to be notified when a new revision is released ? There is no announcement in the forum, even the filename
does not change (OpenSees2.5.0-x64.exe.zip). And there is no information on any changes from the previous revision.

What I found out is that in the latest revision (6345), the element ID number should be unique across different model regions
('model' commands for different DOFs). However, it used to work with same IDs for materials that belonged to different regions before.

sorry .. we slip updates out all the time to placate developers .. will make them more formal in the future.
