can we use MVLEM & SFMVLEM in a 3D model ?

hi,
as i understood , we should model our structural wall in 2-d (3dofs ) to be able to use MVLEM or SF-MVLEM command. Is there any way to use these two commands when modeling a 3-d structure with 6 dof for each node ? ( for 3-d case i modeled my shear-walls as a column using patch command to define my wall section )
