How to see the calculations OpenSees is performing

Post by IHK » Thu Jul 20, 2017 3:50 pm

Hi,

I was wondering if there is a way to see the calculations that OpenSees performs, for example, when we use NONLIN we are able to see the different stiffness matrixes and so on.

Is there a way to have something similar with OpenSees?

Thank you,

You need to compile opensees source code. Add some print commands to the code so that it can print what you what to know while running. But it takes time to understand the source code.
