There are different methods in literature to model steel shear walls. What are you using in your case, trusses?

thanks.i used shell element but my problem modeling stiffner in middle of wall. may be tell me your offer to modeling steel wall with stiffner

please guid me which one of material must be using for steel plate shear wall and how to modeling section and element with opensees.I tried to analizing steel wall to show the tension on it.

A graduate student who is quite experienced with steel shear wall modeling indicated that the current methodology is to use strip model with corotational truss and an appropriate material property (you can use Steel02).
