Displacement control at two nodes at the same time

Post by WendyZhao » Wed Apr 26, 2017 12:55 am

Dear All,
I want to make a Static Reversed-Cyclic analysis on beam-column subassemblage, but with different displacement history in two different nodes, I want to make a displacement control of this two nodes at the same time. I have used the "timeSeries Path command" , but at last I did not get the right results. So is there any other mothod that can apply displacement at two nodes simultaneously?

not using the displacement control algorithm which determines the load factor to apply to the loads to obtain the displacement wanted .. if the displacements are instead part of the time-varying boundary conditions, i.e. you know how the displacements and loads change at each step, you could instead use imposed displacements by putting them in a load pattern with sp command.

In that case, should one use LoadControl for integrator, then?
