create this force displacement relationship material

Post by xiaomiemie » Fri Mar 31, 2017 10:40 am

Hi
I want to create a material looks like :
https://www.flickr.com/photos/149223837 ... ed-public/

when start loading it will go from 0 to P under slope k1.
then it will have a plastic deformation D.
After D it will have continue with k2.

when unloading it will go back using slope k2 first ( like it is elastic ) and then behave like a elastic plastic material.

it is easy to play with parallel material to achieve the loading part but not so much about the unloading.

Does anyone has a good idea ??? I prefer to use the existing material model and save some time from creating a new material.

Best,
